2018-2019 Championship Qualifying

To qualify for the Championship event, teams must fish five (5) of the six (6) events not including any additional hosted or open events.  Points will start at 200 for 1st place and decrease accordingly by place.  Any and all teams not weighing fish will be tied for place points.  Entries will not be accepted for “last place” points.  All teams must fish either as a team or solo as outlined by the rules.

The season results will be audited to avoid errors and the Championship field announced on the Bass Junkyz’ web page and on social media with-in seven (7) days.

Each individual event winning team from the six events will automatically be qualified for the championship if the minimum requirement of 5 events participated in is fulfilled.

Thirty-five (35) teams will qualify from the points not including 2018-2019 event winners.  After the 6th event an additional five (5) will be drawn from those that participated in the minimum five (5) events.  The Championship event is a two day tournament made up of the thirty-five (35) qualified teams, five (5) random draw from the qualified field participating in five (5) of the 6 events for the championship field, and possible six(6) event winners.  Any off limits for this event will be included at the pre-tournament email communication or social media announcements following the sixth qualifying event.

The season results will be audited to avoid errors and the Championship field announced on the Bass Junkyz’ web page and on social media with-in seven (7) days.

Angler Of The Year is earned with the highest cumulative points of the six (6) events of the season. All events are calculated for the point total.
